Vita IMPRESSUM
K@ is 40 years old. He was born in Romania where he graduated from High School and underwent the military service until 1990 when, due to the political changes in the country preceding the overthrow of the dictatorship of the Ceausescu clan, he immigrated to Germany, together with his family.
In
Germany, he first had to graduate again from High School to gain the status that
would allow him to study at a university of his choice. This comes with the
differences between the school systems of the two countries.
He
attendet the University of Trier, where he graduated in Psychology, with a minor
in Criminology.
He also attendet Colorado State University in Ft.Collins, Colorado, based on a generous grant affiliated to the grants offered by the Fullbright Commission. He lived and studied in the USA for three terms.
In 2001 he started working as the coordinator of the call center of the European Institute for Tourism in Trier, where he gained insight into statistical procedures and the actual inquiry procedure concerning touristic matters of the region. Here he was given the opportunity to act out his managerial skills.
In
2003, K@ joined an american pharmacological company as a representative, where he stayed for two years.
This job gave K@ the opportunity to work on an independent basis, with
responsibilities which included organising trade fair participations, where he represented his
company’s business.
After
two years K@ quit the job on mutual understanding. He is still in touch
with his former superiors.
He then
started working in the financial sector in Luxemburg. There he was mainly responsible for the
optimizing and
rational clustering of the Nordea S.A. Bank's CRM files.
Later he got involved in the depot and accounting services office. His job consisted in the opening and correction of investment accounts, based on consultations with the issuing banks in Germany and/or legal premises discussed with his superiors.
K@ is currently employed at Palais e.V. in Trier/Germany, a non-profit organisation which supports young adults on their way of adjusting to and finding their place in society. His tasks include teaching, social support and psychologic diagnostics/test administration.
He is
fluent in German (mother tongue), English, Romanian, and Hungarian, with basics
in French. He is a member of Mensa Germany (MinD).
K@ takes pride in calling himself both an effect oriented and procedural focused person (depending on the priorities), who is used to making decisions under stress. He works out, plays guitar and is not to bad at ping-pong.
